"Food is our love language, memory, and heritage."
"I wanted people to smell the real Ethiopia."
Growing up, our kitchen was a sanctuary of sound and fragrance. The gentle rhythmic roasting of Mareko chilis, the cracking of wild korarima seeds between smooth stones, and the sweet caramelization of shallots simmering down into rich berbere.
When I moved to Europe, I searched high and low for those same ingredients. But what I found on supermarket shelves was flat, stale, and diluted with fillers. The electric vitality of home was missing.
That longing became Habesha Harvest. We traveled back through the high-altitude highlands of Harar, the fertile volcanic valleys of Gojjam, and the mist-covered coffee forests of Kaffa. We formed direct partnerships with smallholder family farms and women's milling cooperatives.
"Every pouch we seal in Dublin holds the pride, labor, and centuries of love of Ethiopian women who know that pure spice is sacred."

How We Protect the Harvest
True luxury isn't about fancy labels—it is about respecting the earth, the farmer, and the traditional slow milling process.
Ancestral Stone-Milling
We reject industrial high-heat pulverization that scorches volatile aroma oils. Our spices are slow stone-ground at low temperatures to preserve their full medicinal and culinary vitality.
Direct Highland Terroir
From sun-drenched Mareko chili fields to wild montane cardamom forests in Kaffa, every spice comes from documented generational soils—not anonymous international brokers.
Fair Trade & Stewardship
We believe genuine luxury begins with dignified livelihoods. We pay above-market prices directly to the Ethiopian women artisans and farming families who nurture the harvest.
